Meet Dr. Viet Le

Dentist

I was born in a small village in Vietnam and immigrated to San Diego at the age of four. Growing up, my inquisitive nature led me to gravitate towards the realm of science. Combined with my personal journey with dental care, I understand the importance of dental health and found my perfect career. My personal experiences with dental care and diverse background allow me to promote dental health to all communities. I believe in providing quality and personalized dental care to promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I received my bachelors degree from the University of California, San Diego. I then attended the University of California, Los Angeles and earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. After graduating from dental school, I pursued a general practice residency (GPR) at The University of Washington. Since living in SoCal all my life, I knew I had to move back home to Sunny San Diego, CA. In my free time, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym and hiking. Furthermore, I am a huge foodie and I love to explore all different cuisines.

Meet Dr. Neena Patel

Dentist

Please join us in welcoming Dr Patel to our practice. She will be joining our team as the new Associate Dentist on Tuesdays and Thursdays In the upcoming months. Dr. Neena Patel is a licensed general dentist in California, who is passionate about dental health and aesthetics. After attaining a Master’s in Biotechnology from Georgetown University where she performed research at the National Institute of Dental Craniofacial Research center, she went on to receive a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine in 2013. Dr. Patel has a keen eye for beauty and is determined to give you the smile you desire and deserve. She continues ongoing education and has many tools in her belt to create beautiful smiles – including Invisalign. She is committed to being up-to-date on the latest advances in dentistry and is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, Academy of General Dentistry, San Diego Dental Society, California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Spear Study group. The health and comfort of her patients is her top priority, as there is an undeniable connection between dental health and total body health. She provides a thorough comprehensive plan individualized for you and it is communicated step by step, in order to provide you the best possible care. She looks forward to meeting all of you.

Dr. Ho-Yin Leung

Dentist

Dr. Ho-Yin Leung grew up in Southern California where he attended Bishop Amat High School (La Puente, CA). Dr. Leung became a periodontist because he felt that was the best way he could help patients improve their smiles through treatment and prevention. He is a highly skilled and knowledgeable periodontist who believes in delivering the highest quality dental care to his patients. He is experienced in all phases of modern periodontal therapy and dental implant placement, using advanced techniques and materials. Dr. Leung pursued his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and Master of Science in Biological Sciences at University of California, San Diego between 2001 and 2007. He, then, completed his Doctoral degree in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 2014 and his specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery in 2017 at UCLA School of Dentistry. He became a Board Certified Periodontist in 2018. Dr. Leung has taught at the university graduate level in both UCSD and UCLA as a graduate student and a resident for many years. He is currently a clinical adjunct faculty at UCLA School of Dentistry mentoring future dentists. Dr. Leung had also involved with numerous research effort and co-authored articles in peer-review journals while he was a research associates at UCSD, Caltech, and UCLA.  Dr. Leung is married to Dr. Marie Dizon (Pediatric Dentist) and enjoys spending time with his children, Ayden and Adelynn.
