Oasis Dentistry is incredible. I’ve hated going to the dentist my whole life, but that ended when I started coming here. The office is really welcoming, especially Josh the hygienist & the administrative staff. I also really value the way their whole team prioritizes clarity - from the treatment itself to how I can expect to be billed, I always feel like I know what’s going on.

Oasis Dentistry is the best dentist's office I have been to for a long time. Every person in the office treats you like family, and they are so kind and upbeat. The dental care is outstanding and educational. You'll leave feeling better than when you entered, which is a difficult feat for a dentist office..

Shout out to Josh for being such a thorough cleaner. I go to see him every six months for my cleaning cuz he is numero uno. My dentist is also funny. The office is clean and friendly Overall very good dentist office you should come here trust me bro 😉

Hands down, best experience at a dentist in my life. The staff is amazingly friendly, Josh my hygienist was super personable and made me feel a lot better about not having been to the dentist in 3 years. Dr. Rhodes is awesome, and really the whole front desk staff are great. I’m gonna make my husband switch over to Oasis, because it’s really a special, welcoming place.

Oasis Dentistry makes me smile! The staff do everything they can to make patients feel comfortable, physically and emotionally. They do a great job of making procedures as painless as possible. Dr. Le and all the dental hygienists explain steps to procedures, sensations and noises to expect, tools that will be used, purpose of treatment, etc. Everyone at Oasis is friendly, caring, and gentle, making the experience as pleasant as possible. They remember little details about their patients and make genuine connections. They follow up after appointments, work really well with insurance, and encourage and schedule follow up visits to maintain dental health. I had a tooth that cracked and lost its bonding. Split in half. I was referred by a friend to Dr. Rhoades. He was on leave so I took a chance with Dr. Le. I approached this appointment with trepidation having bad experiences in the past. Dr. Le was amazing. Confident with his tools and attention to detail. He layers the bonding so that the color is more natural and real. This takes additional labor. Other dentists just lay a blob of bonding on and call it a day. Plus, he uses some type of skinny metal thing that helps to create the shape. He has a lot of attention to detail. This dentist is very very good. Best dentist I have had. He takes pride in his work and is very skilled.

The best dentist office I have ever been! Friendly, caring staff and a wonderful Dentist: Dr. Le. He is the best Dentist I ever had. Anesthesia feels almost like nothing. He works in your mouth and whatever you need will be done to perfection. You will not find another Dentist like him. He is the best!! And I am so grateful to have found him. I had a broken tooth that was very painful. Stacie, my hygienist, found it. (By the way the best hygienist ever!) Dr. Le told me I need a crown. I have always been afraid of major dental work but Dr. Le reassured me that he would listen to me and take care of it. The day came to have the old tooth grounded down. I arrived totally stressed out. But Dr. Le and his assistant Lupe did an outstanding job! I relaxed and they worked with me and it was done! They are a great team and if there is anyone out there that has the same phobias that I do, this is the place to go. Thank you to all of the staff there for taking care of me! BTW Sue is the best!!

Need a dentist, look no further. Dr Rhoades and Dr Li along with their assistants Lisa and Maria are awesome. Stacie is the best hygienist ever and the front office manager, Sue is extremely friendly. Everyone makes you feel like family. They're the Gold Standard of dental care.

Oasis is friendly and fun- I've been going here for years- Dr Rhoads and Dr Jen are great. TVs in the ceiling so I can be entertained while they work and I've never had trouble getting appointments.

Best customer service I have ever received...The place is a beautiful beach oasis setting, all the staff are amazingly friendly, and there are TV's in front of you and on the ceiling! My dentist calls me personally to follow the same day!

I read a negative review that focused on the receptionist Sue and couldn't believe it. I work at a school and the first person everyone sees when they come to visit teachers and although the Principal and teachers are who they come to see, it's the secretary who is the most important contact. First impressions are important and they provide this. Sue is in this position at Oasis dentistry. I go about every 6 months for cleaning and Sue knows me, remembers my work and talking with her is like talking to family, there is a genuine warmth. Sue must have an amazing memory to recall all the things going on in people's lives. Not only Sue is great but the dentists are great and the technicians do a wonderful job. I feel as if they care about my health and it's a very warm environment. If you have never been, you can watch television above your head with headphones and the whole experience is top-notch. I can't begin in this small space to rate this office high enough, and I think if you check them out, you will agree.

I have been going here for over one year and love the care I receive. (My previous dentist was abysmal to put it nicely. I received a bad filling that prevented me from chewing on one side of my mouth for about 1-2years. They couldn't fix it. ) Oasis Dentistry did! Eventually this poor filling chipped at year 2 and Oasis refilled it and my mouth has felt amazingly normal ever since. I can now chew on both sides of my mouth. I have regular check ups, and my dental hygienist is great. I would recommend this place to anyone needing an exceptional dental team. I trust them with my teeth!

Love, love, love. Dr. Rhoades and his staff took great care of me and my teeth! I am military and we just moved here recently, and finding a new dentist is always a daunting task. I checked reviews, and then made my appointment. I will never look for another dentist while in San Diego. Televisions are everywhere, so if you do not like the sound of dental tools going you can put on headphones and sit back. Oasis Dentistry has very friendly staff, from the front to the hygienist, and also very comfortable and appealing atmosphere. The real gem is Dr. Rhoades. He is very personable and professional. Always looking to make sure you are comfortable and discuss with you anything you have questions or concerns about. He takes extra time if you need it, and you do not feel rushed. I highly recommend this office and location! When you visit, make sure you walk inside of the center, shopping center I call it, because several other businesses exist here.

I am always skeptical when seeing new dentists. But I have to say, this place is legit!! Dr. Rhoades and his team are the real deal and offer a great experience. It was refreshing to deal with a down to earth and honest dental office. Unfortunately my work's dental plan changed and Oasis is no longer in network. I haven't had a great dental experience since Oasis Dentistry. I would definitely recommend this place. This is an office that gets it and knows what they are doing. Great service! They deserve more than 5 stars!!!

This is actually the first an only Yelp review I have ever written and that's because this place needs to be recognized! I went I for nothing but a check up and cleaning, but since we had extra time Dr. Jen removed two of my wisdom teeth for me. It was so painless and literally took less than 30 minutes for the whole process. I got a cleaning directly after and off I went on my way home. Having teeth pulled so painlessly and quick is unheard of. She called me later that afternoon to make sure I was doing okay and I went back to work the next morning!! I have to add that the tvs on the ceilings are amazing. I've never had an experience like this (anywhere) and I too can't wait for my next appointment.

We took our son for his first dental checkup, the office was clean and well laid out, the staff was all very friendly and Dr Jen made it really easy on our son for his first checkup. We didn't know how he would react, but he was not too difficult and the staff seemed very knowledgeable. My wife and myself will be going back for our checkups next and look forward to more great experiences.

I went to Oasis Dental back in April and was really wowed by the entire place! From beginning to end, each employee was very friendly and made me feel comfortable and informed. The dental hygienist was very thorough with my cleaning and even did a gum disease check. I have never had this done and let me tell you, I have moved around quite a bit, so I have seen my share of dentists. As we have officially moved back to the area, I will be making this place my regular dental office. 🙂

Dr Jen is the best dentist I've ever had! I am a total Scaredy-cat at the dentist and Dr Jen has help me overcome the fear. In fact in a recent visit to have a filling done, I dozed off for a moment in the chair! She is super conscientious and the entire staff is really fun. Dr. Jen is awesome!

I would never hesitate to reccomend Dr. Rhoades at Oasis dentistry. I have ben going there over 10 years and have no compliants whatsoever. It is expensive if you don't have insurance .... but there is no comparison to an HMO dentist....these guys are wonderful and thorough!

My 10 yr old son did a face plant into a metal pole on a Saturday morning, breaking his two front teeth. Dr. Jen made special arrangements to meet us on Saturday afternoon to reconstruct them. After over two and a half hours of work on them, they came out picture perfect. Dr. Jen and Dr. Rhoades are the best. We are blessed to have them as our family dentists.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I woke up this morning and I realized I chipped my tooth in my sleep (I sleep walk), so I needed a dentist fast. My friend recommended them to me so I called them up. They got me in the same day! My doctor was amazing, very gentle and understanding. And their place is just immaculate. And the price really was reasonable as well. All over great experience!

I love this place. Staffs are friendly and doesn't try and up sell you anything. The most important thing is their honesty! I had a bad experience at a previous dentistry where they lied to me and told me that I needed MANY things done and they said the same to my husband. Dr. Rhoades is an amazing Dr., honest, and tells you what needs to be done and doesn't try and rip you off. He also made me laugh and forget about the drilling that was going on in my mouth. lol This place is awesome, professional, honest, clean, and friendly staff. I'm glad I found them.

This place is great (except for the good doctor went to University of Michigan- and I went to MSU!) That being said, he is personable, has high tech gear and great staff. I'll be sad when I move knowing I will have to start the search all over again.

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers I have now found my new dentist in San Diego.. I rang today to make an appointment after reading all the great comments. Talk about great timing. There happened to be a cancellation today so I was squeezed in.. Next available would have been June 27 so lady luck was on my side today.. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and Lisa Dr Rhoades assistant was fantastic as well when she was doing my xrays.. All the staff that work here are great. Dr Rhoades was FANTASTIC... He was so friendly and personable and I must say that was the best dental exam Ive ever had.. He was extremely thorough and gave me some great tips and advice on my dental health... I was very pleased and so glad I yelped before finding any old dentist in the area... Thanks fellow yelpers.. I would definitely recommend Dr Rhoades to anyone looking for a new Dentist in the Mission Valley area.. U cant go wrong...

Just got back from having a crown done by Dr. Rhoades. Couldn't have had a better experience. I didn't feel a thing and enjoyed watching direct tv while they worked on my mouth. Dr. Rhoades and his staff are very friendly and do great work. No one likes going to the dentist but Dr. Rhoades makes an unpleasant experience easy to get through.

Out of all doctor visits, dentist ones are usually my least favorite. Something about those tools picking at your teeth and the fluoride makes me squeamish. I'd rather get a bazillion shots before I go to the dentist. And I put off scheduling my appointments until the last possible minute....until I went to Dr. Rhoades! I love this dentist. I love that the office is smaller and you don't feel like you are just another mouth without feelings. I also love that they don't try to sell you unnecessary things, which always makes me uncomfortable! No, I do not want $50 toothpaste and no, I do not want a mouth guard for funsies. Dr. Rhoades is fantastic and it is true that he remembers your name. I felt comfortable and at ease. Plus it doesn't hurt that they have TVs on the ceiling and in front of the chairs....if only all dentists had this when I was younger, I might not have hated dentists so much. I also like the hygienists--they really listed to your concerns. For instance, my last hygienist used a water tool on my gums that basically annihilated them and I couldn't eat solid foods for three weeks. I told my new hygienist about that, she listened (and verified that the technique my old dentist used was not necessary), and my gums were not swollen when I left! Just as it should be! So far, so good! Glad I made the switch to Dr. Rhoades!

Dr Rhoades and his staff are great! I visited may other dentists in the San Diego area, and once I went into his office for my first appointment, I stayed. He accepts most insurance plans (including United Concordia for military). I would highly recommend Oasis Dentistry to anyone who is looking for a good San Diego Dentist.

I LOOOVE this dentistry. I agree.. Dr. Rhoades and staff are fantastic!! They even remember you by name as you walk in and are super friendly!! It's not a huge office but they work it well and make you comfy. Even giving you remote control to watch the tv in front or above you as they work on you. LOL Totally neat. 🙂 TIMELINESS!!! Very, very few times have they made me wait past my appointment time. Sometimes, they took me in earlier. Can't wait to move back to San Diego, to have them as my dentists again!! I miss them!!!! The only down part is that I got a crown done there and they don't do their own so I had to come back 2 wks later for the actual molded crown... but it wasn't bad. Just would've been nice if they could do it for you as you wait. But I guess that's standard practice at some places. 🙂 Still no complaints. I LOVE them and can't wait to move back!! I trust them, unlike my recent experiences here in WNY where it's been hell dealing with incompetent workers at a large dentistry who can't file a claim correctly, jip you out of your money, as they claim your insurance doesn't cover you after they told you they do AND when they actually do, then lie to the insurance as to who took care of you and don't get covered... and the dentists commonly tell you, you have gum disease and won't touch you for 6 wks, not even do the regular cleaning you went for but will still charge you $95 for seeing you and xrays! ... ok so I'm a bit bitter... LOL I need to post this review on the bad dentistry. But all good experiences here for me. 🙂

I really like the dentist and his staff - they are so nice and professional. I have been back a couple of times now and I will continue to do so. The Doctor is very nice, my initial visit went great. The front desk associate was very nice, she spend extra time trying to find a dental appointment that would work for me. So far, so good.
